Terms of Service
1. The service
Timo ("Service") lets you connect a calendar, create tasks, record meetings, and receive transcripts, summaries, suggested tasks and schedules generated with the help of automated systems, including large language models. The Service is available at timonow.com and any apps we publish.
2. Your account
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your device secure. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to use Timo.
3. Recording meetings
You are solely responsible for complying with recording and privacy laws that apply to you and to the people you record. Many places require the consent of all participants. Timo shows a recording indicator and lets you configure participant notices; it does not obtain consent on your behalf. Do not record where you lack the right to do so.
4. Your content
Audio, transcripts, notes, tasks, calendar data and anything else you put into Timo is yours. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it solely to operate the Service for you, including sending the necessary portions to our AI and infrastructure providers listed in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not sell it.
5. AI-generated output
Summaries, decisions, action items, deadlines, entities, research topics and answers are generated automatically and can be incomplete, out of context or wrong. Timo marks confidence and links items to transcript evidence so you can check them. Review AI output before relying on it; do not treat it as professional, legal, medical or financial advice.
6. Calendar and third-party services
When you connect Google Calendar, Timo reads busy times and, only with your approval or an explicit setting you enable, writes events. Your use of Google services is also governed by Google's terms. Timo's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Public booking pages
If you publish a booking page, anyone with the link can see the times you make available and book them. You are responsible for the information you publish and the meetings you accept.
8. Acceptable use
- No unlawful recording, harassment, or interception of communications.
- No attempts to access other users' data, probe, or overload the Service.
- No automated scraping, resale, or use that circumvents usage limits.
- No uploading of malware or content you have no right to share.
9. Plans, limits and changes
Timo may offer free and paid plans with usage limits (for example minutes of transcription or AI actions per day). We may change features, limits or pricing with reasonable notice. Fees, where applicable, are non-refundable except where required by law.
10. Termination
You can stop using Timo and delete your data at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for others, and will tell you why where lawful.
11. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GenAI, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue or profits, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless mandatory consumer law where you live provides otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We will post updates here and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
